So guess what I did yesterday? I ran/jogged over 7 miles WITHOUT WALKING ANY OF IT. (Yes Dan, I know it's sick) Go me! I've never jogged any further than the 4.5 that I started running with Jenn every so often over the last 2 weeks, and even then some of it got walked. I must say, though, that the route we ran (laps around a lake) wasn't overly hilly, and the hills that were there has really gentle slopes. I'm awful proud of myself. I never would have thought that I could jog that far. Jenn was very proud of me, too. Props to her though, because she kept going after I stopped running and ran a total of 11 miles (she's thinking about running a half-marathon next week - I think she'll be fine). I think running with Jenn prevents me from giving up. We were able to talk the whole time we jogged (it was nice to gab and get exercise at the same time), I never felt overly winded, and it wasn't bad at all. My knee is a little sore, though.
For those of you who are concerned about me losing weight, fear not, I'm eating. And now I can eat more. Dairy Queen, here I come!
Though you may not believe it, I am still alive. I've just been really busy. My first set of licensing exams (AKA "the Boards") is coming up on June 8-9, so I've been studying for that as well as the classes I'm taking, and I've been a teaching assistant for two classes this semester. Add in a few sproutings of drama here and there, so yes, I'm busy.
Oh, and my computer continues to make scary noises. Dan has diagnosed it as a processor fan on its last legs. I just hope it makes it until he comes out here and helps me fix it. Please send good vibes towards my computer, as I will need it more than ever in the coming months.
